Katherine was born in Caracas, Venezuela and spent most of her childhood between Mexico and Brazil. She attended Father Lopez High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in the animal field after volunteering at a local Humane Society for 2 years. Her junior year of High School, Katherine began volunteering at a local large and small animal vet practice, where she was then hired in 2008 after graduating. After two years, Katherine moved on to another local vet clinic where she worked for 5 and a half years as a technician and Shift Lead. Katherine shares her home with her four dogs (Boosa, Sasha, Daisy, and Ruger), two cats (Phantom and Scout), and bunny (Blueberry). She also has several horses and potbelly pigs. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys outdoor activities with her dogs, going to barrel races and horse shows, and spending time with her friends and family.
