Ashley Shorey joined the Atlantic Animal Hospital team in April of 2010 as a Veterinary Assistant. She was born in Connecticut but currently resides in Palm Coast, Florida. Ashley states that what she enjoys most about working at Atlantic Animal Hospital is the great working environment and the learning experience. She also enjoys working with exotics, especially reptiles, and has the opportunity to do so with our exotics veterinarian, Dr. Long! She also aspires to enroll at St. Petersburg College to pursue her certification as a Veterinary Assistant.

Ashley and her boyfriend, Shaun, are owned by quite a crowd of animals. Marley is their 2 year-old Domestic Shorthair cat. Sasha is a 4 year-old Pitbull that thinks she is a lap dog; Dozer is their 2 year-old Husky mix and holds the title of "the wild child." Brutus, who is Shaun's best friend, is a 1 and a half year-old Chihuahua/Pekingese mix, and the newest addition to the family is Nubbs, a 4 month-old Labrador Retriever mix. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys Disney World and has recently started kayaking with her mother.
