BOARDING
Atlantic Animal Hospital in Ormond Beach has an enclosed kennel with fifteen spacious cages and four runs. Atlantic Animal Hospital South in Port Orange has separate wards for dogs, cats and exotics. The Port Orange dog ward contains eight glass-door runs and eight spacious cages, while our cat ward contains nine 'condos' with outside views. We have a separate room for birds and exotics that can accommodate a variety of cages and enclosures. Our intensive care unit (ICU) has seven large cages for patients that require close monitoring and care. For your animal's safety, we only board patients we have examined within the last 12 months. We have strict protocols to prevent infectious diseases and parasites from being passed from one animal to another. Infectious animals are boarded in a separate isolation room which is independently ventilated. All boarded dogs are walked at least three times a day. We have boarding check-in and check-out seven days a week at our Port Orange office and six days a week in Ormond Beach.
Please note that all patients are provided soft bedding including towels or blankets. Both paper and clumping litters are available for cats. We feed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach food to your companion, unless otherwise requested. We are happy to administer special diets or medications as needed. Several services, including 1/2 price bathing and de-shedding treatments, are available while boarding. Please advise us of any special requests and treatments your companion animal may need while boarding.
