BATHING

An essential part to maintaining your companion animals' health is to keep them clean and parasite free. That is why we offer several grooming essentials for our patients including baths (standard or medicated), nail trims, ear cleanings, de-shedding treatments, and full-body shaves (also called "lion cuts").

Most of our companion animals are bathed in an Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo to promote healthy skin and a shiny hair coat. We can also bathe your companion in a prescription strength medicated flea shampoo if you are finding it hard to get fleas under control. Atlantic Animal Hospital also offers an extensive range of medicated shampoos designed for dogs and cats that are suffering from allergies, hair loss, dry skin, or bacterial/fungal infections.
